• Other entities within the Lumos Advisory group where this is necessary to provide the services you have engaged us for.
• The Australian Taxation Office and other government agencies as required by law.
• Our licensee, Alliance Wealth Pty Ltd, where you receive financial planning services through us.
• Product and service providers (e.g. super funds, insurance providers, lenders) where you have authorised us to deal with them on your behalf.
• Third party service providers who help us run our business, including cloud-based software platforms such as Xero, FYI, Asana and other practice management and document storage systems.
• Our professional advisors, including our lawyers, auditors and insurers, where required.
• Any other party where you have given us consent or where the disclosure is required or permitted by law.

5. Sensitive information

We only collect sensitive information (such as health information) where it is reasonably necessary for the services we are providing to you and where you have consented, or where the law allows.

We store personal information in physical and electronic form. Electronic information is held on cloud-based platforms used to manage our practice.

These platforms operate servers located in Australia, the United States and Singapore. Where personal information is held overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient handles the information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. These steps include selecting reputable providers with appropriate data security certifications and contractual data protection arrangements.
