About our registration
As your Tax Agents, our work for you is performed in accordance with the Tax Agent
Services Act 2009 and the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct)
Determination 2024.

Your rights, responsibilities and obligations
As your tax agent, we have a responsibility to act lawfully, honestly and in your best
interests. We must comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the Code of
Professional Conduct administered by the TPB.
You also have responsibilities as our client. These include providing accurate,
complete and timely information, paying our fees as agreed, and complying with
your obligations under tax law.

Your specific obligations to us are also set out in your Engagement Letter.
Matters that could significantly influence your decision to engage us
Under section 45 of the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct)
Determination 2024, we are required to disclose any matter that could significantly
influence your decision to engage us, or to continue to engage us, for a Tax Agent Service.
This applies to events from 1 July 2022 onwards.
Currently, we have no such matters to disclose.
Making a complaint
If you have a complaint about our tax agent services, please follow this process:

Contact your Accountant in the first instance, by email, with the details of your complaint.

If they are unable to resolve your complaint within 3 business days, please contact
Alisha Lever, Managing Director, by email at
complaints@lumosadvisory.com.au

We will acknowledge your complaint by email and confirm our understanding of the circumstances.
Your complaint will be investigated by a Director or staff member not involved in the matter where
possible.
We aim to resolve complaints within 14 days.

tpb.gov.au/complaints
